What is mastering?
Mastering is the process of taking your final audio mixes and fine tuning them. Ty makes adjustments to EQ, volume, deEssing, limiting/compression, and anything else needed to make your audio sound great. Mastering can be subtle or dramatic depending on your mix. The greatest benefit is that mastering can help make a group of different sounding songs sound like they belong on the same album. This helps your product sound like a real album as opposed to a demo.
What do I send?
We accept files in any standard stereo format (wav, aif, aiff, etc.) at almost any resolution.
Uploading / downloading makes everything easy.
What do I get?
You will receive individually mastered files. Individual files are sent in order for you to have complete control over your final sequencing. These files can be uploaded directly to the distribution service of your choice.

How long does it take?
We usually have your master finished within three business days of receiving your files.
What gear or software do you use?
Alien Beans has a huge arsenal of high-end professional audio plugins. We are constantly updating software! Whether you need compression, EQ, limiting, noise reduction, gain, editing, or any number of other tweaks, we are sure to have something perfect for your project. Your recording determines the software plugins we use.

This pricing applies for each session. For instance if you send five songs in January, and five more in March, (even if they are part of the same album) they will be treated as two separate five-song sessions.
